Kenya’s 2027/28 budget hits Sh5.4 trillion as recurrent spending surges
The Draft Budget Policy Statement 2027 projects total spending at 23.6 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP), up from Sh5.323 trillion, or 23.1 per cent of GDP.
